Our students, faculty and alumni manage every detail — from water management and drainage to weed and disease control, field safety and soil health — ensuring some of the world’s most famous courses, fields and stadiums meet championship standards. The Sports Surface Field Research Laboratory, located near Auburn's main campus, provides students with hands-on experience in specialized turfgrass research, preparing them for careers in sports turf management, landscaping and environmental sustainability.
