Welcome to the College of Business!

All Business freshmen signed up for CWE orientation will receive an email reminder from the College of Business Advising Office regarding advising dates on Monday, May 10th. Students who are added to the College of Business’ camp roster May 11th - June 11th will receive the email within 3-5 business days of being added to our list.

Advising Modules in Canvas – Specific dates and deadlines in table below
Students must complete College of Business advising modules prior to their required advising meeting. Students can access the Business advising modules in Canvas beginning May 5th and should set aside at least 1 hour to complete the modules. Students will be expected to develop a preferred Fall 2021 class plan based on the Pre-Business curriculum information in the advising modules.

One-on-one Advising session – Specific dates in table below
College of Business students will have a 15-minute, one-on-one advising meeting within a week of their CWE orientation. Students will receive an email notification (via AU email account only) regarding how to sign up.

Focus of Required Advising Meeting
Freshmen advising meetings will be conducted via Zoom, where the Business advisor and student will review and discuss the Fall class plan that has been prepared by the student. Advising conversations will focus on students’ academic strengths and course preferences.

Students will receive a post-advising email with additional information regarding Business resources, opportunities, and registration specs. Students will also be provided with information on connecting with our Business Peer Advisors throughout the summer.

Your Business advising modules in Canvas will provide you with more information and details. Please be sure to go through the modules to learn more about the College of Business, your Pre-Business curriculum (i.e. your required courses), and the registration process.
