The following dashboards have been created to share post-graduation outcome data with the Auburn University community. Each dashboard has a different purpose and should be used respectively and responsibly. If dashboard use leads to further questions, please reach out to a member of the Office of Academic Insight!
Career Outcome Dashboard
Auburn University has a robust process whereby we connect with soon-to-be graduates and recent graduates to capture their career outcomes, sometimes referred to as a first destination outcome, a post-graduation outcome, or placement data.
At AU, all students register for Achieve the Creed, a senior graduation course taken during the semester a student plans to graduate. In this course, a student will complete the First Destination Survey (FDS) in the two weeks of the semester and members of the Office of Academic Insight will continue to collect outcome data in the six-months after graduation.
Check-out the “How Does AU Collect Career Outcome Data” dashboard for more information about this process.
The career outcome dashboard reflects self-reported first destination outcomes and allows users to filter the data by graduation year, college, and/or degree earned.
How Does AU Collect Career Outcome Data?
Auburn University boasts a 99% knowledge rate. That is to say, we connect with 99% of our graduates sometime in the last two weeks of their final semester (98% of students complete an at-graduation first destination survey in our Achieve the Creed senior graduation course) and/or in the six months following graduation. That’s nearly 6000 students per year! The following dashboard provides information about how and when the data is captured so that you can feel confident in the career outcome data that is shared by the Office of Academic Insight.
