Leadership Team

Kat Mincey received her B.S in Biology from Georgia Southern University in 2012 and her Ph.D. in Biology from Auburn University in 2018. She began her teaching career in graduate school as both a lab teaching assistant and as a course instructor. Since graduating, she is the instructor for both an Introduction to Biology course and Plant Ecology. In her free time, she enjoys teaching yoga, going on hikes and curling up at home with her cats.
