Auburn’s Spring 2023 Commencement ceremonies will be held May 5-8.

All college ceremonies will occur in Neville Arena beginning Friday, May 5. Graduates will have opportunities for optional photos with Aubie and with their names on the video board inside Jordan-Hare Stadium in late spring (details to be provided in the coming months). Students will receive information during the spring semester on when to pick up name cards. Name cards are required for all commencement ceremonies. Know before you go:

  • All ceremonies are held in Neville Arena and include the conferral of academic degrees for undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Anticipated ceremony length is between two and two and a half hours and will include the commencement speaker, recognition of students graduating with academic honors, and student procession across the stage. 
  • All graduating students will receive a commemorative Auburn cord. 
  • Arena doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony. 
  • For the safety and security of all attendees, Neville Arena must be cleared following each ceremony. 
  • All graduates are asked to limit their guests to six.
  • As a reminder, all ceremonies can be viewed via livestream.
