Doors open 90 minutes before each ceremony.

Graduates should plan to arrive no later than one hour before your ceremony starts and enter through the main student entrance.

Graduates can download and print commencement tickets directly from Audience View. We recommend downloading or printing tickets in advance (not compatible with Apple Wallet) to ensure quicker entry. Additional ticket information is available on the commencement website, or graduates can email gradticketsupport@auburn.edu with questions.

Remember, tickets are ceremony-specific and cannot be scanned more than once.

Guests can enter a standby line. Entry via the standby line is subject to availability and opens approximately 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. The Village Dining Hall will also be open for guests without tickets to watch the livestream.

All graduates will pick up their namecard before going onto the Arena floor. Name cards are used to display graduate names on the videoboard/livestream and announced.

Only bring a cell phone with you (no bags are permitted). Be sure to also have your ID!

Graduates cannot bring bags with them. Guests MUST ADHERE TO THE CLEAR BAG POLICY. Non-clear bags larger than 4.5” x 6.5” should be left at home or in your vehicle. Guests also have the option to check bags or other items for $5. A complete list of prohibited items is available here.

All graduates are seated together by college (no assigned seats) and will be directed to their section once they arrive on the floor.

All ceremonies are expected to last between 1.5 and 2 hours.

Auburn's commencement weekend is full of activities that will bring lots of visitors to campus. Graduates and guests are advised to park in the lots located on the west side of campus, close to the Village Residence Halls. A map of suggested parking lots is available here.

Any guests who need access to ADA parking or drop-off can do so in the arena parking lot (first-come, first served; placard must be visible). Those who need access to elevators may enter through the Scholarship Entrance, located on the east side of the arena.

Following the ceremony, graduates can locate friends and family at the Meet-Up Tent (located in the Arena parking lot), pick up some official 2025 graduate swag and take pictures!

Regalia and honors cords can be picked up at the University Bookstore Monday, May 5, through Monday, May 12 at 4:45 p.m. in 203 Foy Hall. If you still need regalia, contact the bookstore. All caps and gowns are keepsakes and do not need to be returned.

All graduates who attend commencement ceremonies will receive an orange and blue commemorative cord as a gift from Auburn!

Graduate attire should be appropriate for the ceremony and should not be visible under commencement gowns. While weather in Alabama can be unpredictable in early May, guests should be prepared for warmer temperatures (current forecasts predict temperatures in the low to mid-80s throughout the weekend).

For undergraduates, your cap's tassel should start out on the right side and be moved to the left when it's time. Students getting a master's, doctorate, or other advanced degree should keep their tassel on the left.

When crossing the stage, your name will be announced and you will receive a copy of the Auburn Creed from your dean, shake hands with President Roberts and a member of the Board of Trustees. As you exit the stage, you will take a final picture before returning to your seat.

A livestream of the ceremonies is available on the commencement website for guests who can't attend in person.

After the weekend, you'll get an email from Grad Images with the link to purchase photos from your ceremony. Graduates who register in advance at www.gradimages.com/auburnuniversity receive a 20% discount and can access photos more easily.

Every student has a favorite place on campus! The most iconic spots are Samford Lawn/Samford Hall, Langdon Hall, and the Auburn Seal, but Toomer's Corner, the War Eagle wall, top of Horton-Hardgrave Hall, and Cater Lawn are great photo ops too! In addition, there are multiple photo opportunities inside Neville Arena before the start of your ceremony as well as in the Meet-Up Tent after.

Free programs are available at the main entrances before and after the ceremonies.

You'll receive your diploma in the mail 6-8 weeks after graduation.
