Gerald Pouncey, Auburn alumnus and chairman of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, will return to his alma mater to deliver the keynote address during Auburn University’s fall commencement ceremonies Dec. 14 in Neville Arena. 

A leader in environmental law and infrastructure practices, Pouncey currently leads one of Atlanta's top law firms. The chemical engineering graduate has played a key role in fostering the acquisition, disposition and redevelopment of urban properties with significant environmental impact across the US, including state and federal superfund sites.   • To uphold safety measures and effectively track attendance, tickets are required for all commencement ceremonies. Tickets are free and only issued by the Commencement Office. 
  • All graduates planning to participate in commencement must reserve a student ticket.
  • All graduates planning to attend the fall ceremonies may reserve up to 10 guest tickets.
  • Any additional guest ticket requests beyond 10 can be emailed to gradticketsupport@auburn.edu. Additional guest tickets are not guaranteed and will be allocated based on availability.
  • Ticket reservations are now open and close on Thursday, November 7 at midnight.
  • Graduates can download tickets beginning Monday, December 2.
  • All tickets are electronic and can be viewed on a mobile device or as a PDF. Tickets may only be scanned once. You can print your tickets or present a screenshot of your ticket or a downloaded copy of your ticket on a mobile device (not compatible with Apple Wallet or Google Wallet). 
  • All tickets are general admission only (i.e., no assigned seating). Seating inside Neville Arena is on a first-come, first-served basis, including accessibility seating. 
  • Guest tickets for Commencement at Auburn University have NO cash value. The selling or bartering of Commencement tickets is strictly prohibited and is considered an honor offense. If you are discovered to be selling or bartering Commencement tickets your guest ticket(s) may be voided.
  • Frequently Asked Questions regarding ticketing are available on the Commencement Website.
  • Regalia (cap and gown) is required for all commencement ceremonies and can be purchased through the Auburn University Bookstore. 
  • The deadline to order regalia for early pickup has passed. Regalia early pickup will be held October 28 - November 1 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Auburn University Bookstore.
  • The final deadline to order regalia is Monday, November 11 for pickup during finals week. 
  • If an order is not placed by November 11, graduates can purchase regalia for a $25 late fee and may be subject to limited size availability.
  • A map indicating available parking areas can be found on the commencement website.
  • The Neville Arena Parking Lot is reserved for ADA drop-off and ADA parking only (official hang tags must be visible).
  • Please review the prohibited items list, including the clear bag policy. All attendees must pass through metal detectors.
  • All graduates will have official photos taken with Aubie (optional), crossing the stage and with their copy of the Auburn Creed.
  • All photo opportunities are graduates only.
  • Photographers from GradImages, Auburn’s official commencement photographers, will take all photos.
  • Graduates must preregister with GradImages to access graduation images following the ceremonies.
