Auburn Fall 2025 Commencement: What to Know for Graduation

Auburn University’s Class of 2025 will celebrate fall commencement December 13 inside Neville Arena. Use this guide to prepare for your ceremony. Additional details will be shared with all graduates via email and posted on the commencement website.

All ceremonies are held on Saturday, December 13 inside Neville Arena

8:00 AM - Bachelor's Ceremony

  • College of Agriculture

  • Harbert College of Business

  • College of Education

  • College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment

  • College of Nursing

  • College of Sciences and Mathematics

1:00 PM - Master's and Doctoral Ceremony

  • Graduate School

6:00 PM - Bachelor's Ceremony

  • College of Architecture, Design and Construction

  • Samuel Ginn College of Engineering

  • College of Human Sciences

  • College of Liberal Arts

  • Arena Doors Open 90 minutes prior to each ceremony.

  • Graduates should plan to arrive at least one hour prior and use the main student entrance.

  • Graduates can download tickets from AudienceView to either print or scan (tickets are not compatible with Apple Wallet.) For questions, graduates should email gradticketsupport@auburn.edu.

  • Guests without tickets may be issued tickets at the door, space permitting, or can wait in the standby line. The Village Dining Hall is also open for livestream viewing.

The following list of prohibited items was established to protect the safety and best interests of Auburn University students, employees, and guests.

  • Graduates should only bring a cell phone and ID; no bags are permitted on the Arena floor.

  • All guests must adhere to the Clear Bag Policy. Large non-clear bags bigger than 4.5” x 6.5” are not permitted and must be returned to vehicles or checked for $5.

  • Tickets are required for all guests, regardless of age. Guests are advised to print tickets for faster entry.

  • Strollers are permitted inside Neville Arena, but cannot obstruct walkways or be parked in ADA seating.

  • Prohibited Items include the following and are not permitted inside Neville Arena:

    • Any items that obstruct the view of other guests, including, but not limited to, balloons, selfie sticks, shakers, signs, posters, and fat heads.

    • Artificial noisemakers

    • Camera cases/bags

    • Cameras with lenses over 4”

    • Hover boards, scooters and skateboards

    • Non-clear bags that exceed 4.5” x 6.5”

    • Clear bags larger than 12” x 6” x 12”

    • Open food/beverages (water bottles must be sealed)

    • Pets (registered service animals are permitted)

    • Weapons (including pocketknives)

    • Wrapped gifts

  • Graduates are seated together by college, no assigned seating.

  • Guest seating is available on a first-come, first-served bases. RESERVED SEATING IS NOT PERMITTED. Guests reserving seats may be escorted from Neville Arena.

  • Most ceremonies last 1.5–2 hours. All graduates are expected to remain seated for the duration of the ceremony.

  • Parking is available near the Coliseum, Village Residence Halls, and Stadium Parking Deck.

  • ADA Drop-Off & Parking is available in the Arena lot (first come, first served with visible ADA placard).

  • ADA seating inside Neville Arena is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Guests requiring elevator access must enter through the Scholarship Entrance on the east side of Neville Arena.

  • After the ceremony, all graduates must exit the Arena and go to the Meet-Up Tent located outside to pick up 2025 graduate merchandise and reunite with guests.

  • All guests must exit Neville Arean after each ceremony.

  • Graduates should arrive in full regalia.

  • Regalia Pickup is available at the AU Bookstore in Haley Center December 8–13. Regalia is a keepsake and does not need to be returned.

  • All participating graduates will receive a commemorative blue and orange Auburn cord.

  • Business-style clothing is recommended; graduates and guests should be prepared for cool temperatures or rain.

  • Undergraduates wear tassels on the right and will turn them to the left when instructed. Master’s and Doctoral tassels remain on the left.

  • All ceremonies include greetings from the president, provost and Alumni Association, the commencement address, recognition of those groups of students graduating with academic honors and the student procession.

  • During the student procession, graduates will have their name announced, receive a copy of the Auburn Creed, shake hands with President Roberts and Trustee Sanford and take graduation photos before returning to their seats.

  • All ceremonies end with the singing of the Alma Mater, Auburn Fight Song and confetti streamers.

  • All ceremonies are livestreamed on the commencement website.

  • GradImages™ is the university’s official photographer and takes pictures of each graduate as they walk across the stage and with their copy of the Auburn Creed. Proofs can be viewed and purchased online within two weeks of the commencement ceremony.

  • Graduates may take personal pictures with the Auburn Seal and the War Eagle sign on the Arena floor before the ceremony.

  • GradImages will email a link to view/purchase photos. Graduates and guests can register early at gradimages.com/auburnuniversity for a 20% discount.

  • Graduate photos with Aubie are available immediately prior to ceremonies. Only graduates may take photos with Aubie.

  • Free printed programs available at all main entrances; the digital version is available online.

  • Diplomas are mailed to graduates 6–8 weeks after graduation.
