Celebrate the themes of this year’s Common Book and engage with the Auburn Community through one of the following celebration activities:
From Draft to Print: Editing Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
Organized By: The Auburn Common Book Program, Provost’s Office
Join Jenny Jackson, Editor of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow (and Author herself) to learn about the wild process of getting a book to print. Jenny will share her experiences as a writer and editor as well as take questions from the audience.
The event is free and open to students, faculty, staff and community members. Attendees are asked to register in advance.
Community in Gaming: An Evening with Matthew Mercer
Organized By: The Auburn Common Book Program, Provost’s Office
At this incredibly special event, Matthew Mercer, Actor and DM of Critical Role, will have a conversation with Emily Friedman, Associate Professor, about his career, gaming, and community. Matthew will answer your questions as well: Submit your questions HERE.
The event is free, and tickets are required. Ticket reservations open to Auburn students, faculty and staff on August 21 (AU login required) and to the broader community on September 8.
