Promotion and Tenure 2024
At its reception for newly tenured and promoted faculty on Sept. 12, the Provost’s Office recognized 127 distinguished faculty scholars from across the university who achieved the career milestones of tenure and promotion during the past academic year. The event featured remarks from Auburn University Trustee Elizabeth Huntley, President Christopher Roberts and Provost Vini Nathan.

The installation ceremony is a time-honored academic tradition in which Roberts was ceremoniously recognized with the powers and responsibilities of office that were bestowed upon him as Auburn University’s 21st president by the Board of Trustees. Roberts shared his vision and aspirations for the university while also recognizing its great past and present accomplishments.

Alabama Supreme Court: Oral Argument
Opened to the public, the proceedings marked the second time Auburn's campus has hosted an oral argument, offering a live session of the Court's proceedings before an audience of faculty, students, staff, and residents of the broader Auburn and Opelika communities.
