Auburn Provost Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey
The Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs is responsible for all areas of Auburn University's academic mission -- teaching, research, outreach.

To carry out the academic mission, the provost works closely with the vice presidents for research and outreach, as well as the deans of the 12 colleges and schools, library, and graduate school.
Additionally, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts, the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, Educational Support Services, Biggio Center, the Office of Information Technology, the Honors College, the Human Odyssey program, Cooperative Education, the Program for Students with Disabilities, English as a Second Language, the Office of International Education, and Auburn's ROTC programs report to the Provost.
