Admission Requirements

Minimum P2P admission requirements for our in-person program include the following:

  1. Unconditional admission to Southern Union State Community College.

  2. Legal resident of Alabama in accordance with Auburn University’s residency policy.

  3. Minimum 2.75 high school GPA.

  4. Eligibility for ENG 101 and program-specific math requirement*.

  5. Eligibility of intended AU major for Path to the Plains.

  6. Receipt of complete P2P application by deadline – including attached unofficial high school transcript and unofficial college transcript, if applicable

Application Timelines

  • Applications to join Path to the Plains in-person program in a fall semester are open during the prior February and close near the beginning of March.

  • Applications to join Path to the Plains in-person in a spring semester are open the prior mid-September and close in mid-October.
