  • You must enroll in a fully remote-available Path to the Plains major early in your community college degree program in order to qualify for automatic admission. Specifically, at the time that you begin Path to the Plains, you must have at least 36 hours remaining to complete your associate degree. In other words, you need to have at least three semesters remaining of your community college coursework. This will give us time to evaluate your academic progress across both institutions for potential automatic acceptance to pursue a four year degree program at Auburn University.

  • Please note: it is possible to participate in Path to the Plains without meeting the automatic admission requirements. You may apply to Path to the Plains if your major does not have a remote option, or if you are further along in your community college degree program, so that you may experience the benefits of early exposure to Auburn courses and academic planning.
