Attracting, hiring and retaining an excellent and diverse faculty and staff is a top priority for colleges and universities nationwide, yet faculty and staff hiring committees typically receive little education about the search process. With that objective in mind we have developed the following Online Search Committee Training Module. It will provide information, advice, and techniques to enable search committees to run more effectively and efficiently. The training module is also designed to increase knowledge of correct, legal, and recommended hiring practices within the university community.
