Tiger Takeoff Summary

Tiger Takeoff is an educational recruitment conference for rising seniors (high-school class of 2024) from Alabama. This conference is open to all students with a focus on students from underrepresented populations as well as prospective first-generation college students. The 2023 experience will be hosted at Auburn University's main campus from Thursday, July 20th to Saturday, July 22nd, 2023.

This immersive residential experience will expose prospective students from Alabama to leadership activities, academic offerings, campus resources, faculty, staff, and student leaders. Attendees are paired with group leaders who are current Auburn students; these Tiger Takeoff group leaders are called "Navigators". Navigators will support attendees during the summer experience and will remain connected with them throughout their freshman year. Families will be invited to learn more about Auburn University during the Tiger Takeoff conference.

This experience is free to attend, with all meals, lodging, and materials provided for participants. Please note that registration submission does not guarantee selection.

Tiger Takeoff Timeline

  • Registration Opens
    Rising high school senior (Class of 2024), register to attend Tiger Takeoff. The registration must be completed in full for consideration to attend the conference.
  • Wait for confirmation email!
    Selected students will be notified. The confirmation email will include AU Youth Protection Program e-documents to complete. The confirmation email will include AU Youth Protection Program e-documents to complete.

    Complete the AU Youth Protection Program e-documents. These documents must be completed in full to attend the conference.
