WriteFest
Over four sessions, graduate students will explore habits, skills, and mindsets that support their well-being and productivity while working on long projects, and they will have dedicated time to write alongside peers in a supportive environment. This program is ideal for graduate students who are working on a long writing project, such as a thesis, dissertation, or publication.
Students can participate either in person, in the University Writing Studio (RBD Library 2056), or virtually, and are expected to attend all four sessions. Sessions will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on September 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Graduate Studio
Need help staying motivated with your writing? Join our weekly drop-in Graduate Studio, a supportive space where you’ll write alongside fellow graduate students, with guidance from a research librarian and graduate writing consultant. Each session features goal setting, individual support, and an optional reflective group conversation, plus snacks and celebration of your progress. This program is open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
The Studio runs every Tuesday from September 2 through November 18 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the University Writing Studio (RBD Library 2056). We will also offer evening sessions on September 16 and October 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. This program is sponsored by University Writing and Auburn Libraries.

LitReview Lab
Are you overwhelmed by the literature review process? Whether you're preparing for a thesis, dissertation, or a research paper, this four-part workshop series is designed for graduate students who want hands-on guidance in organizing and writing effective literature reviews. You'll leave with a literature matrix, synthesized paragraphs, and a working draft - plus strategies to carry forward. Join our interactive, supportive community and transform your literature review from confusing to clear!
Graduate students can register to participate either in person, in the University Writing Studio on the second floor of RBD Library (Room 2056), or virtually, via Zoom. Sessions will be held from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on October 1, 8, 22, and 29.

Graduate Writing Partners
This program pairs graduate students with a graduate writing consultant for a semester’s worth of one-on-one writing appointments. Participants will attend two hours of standing appointments each week for the entire semester. Attendance can be in person or virtual. To be eligible for this program, you must have an advisor/professor who is willing to submit a recommendation.
Please complete the Graduate Writing Partners application by October 26 to apply for the spring semester.
