Our goal is to help you become a better writer and communicator. As a welcoming space, we value the perspectives and experiences you bring to your writing. We offer free, one-on-one appointments to all current students and employees at Auburn University in both face-to-face and online formats. Our staff of undergraduate and graduate peer consultants can help you with any kind of writing, at any point in the writing process. In 2022, the Miller Writing Center earned certification from the Southeastern Writing Center Association for excellent services to Auburn University.

Miller Writing Center Appointment

The Miller Writing Center is located on the second floor of RBD Library with a satellite location in the Forestry and Wildlife Sciences Building.

We are open for fall semester from August 22 to December 2. Our hours are: 

  • Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Monday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
  • Friday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

We are closed September 4 and 5 for Labor Day, October 6 and 7 for Fall Break, and November 20 to 26 for Thanksgiving Break. 

By making an appointment, clients agree to adhere to the following policies and guidelines: MWC Policies and Guidelines Word Document, MWC Policies and Guidelines PDF document. Please note that if you are a caregiver, your dependent is welcome to accompany you to your appointment.
