Your Visit
Meet the Cadre
A typical visit lasts about an hour. Start with a one-on-one conversation with our recruiting officer or detachment cadre. Ask questions about the program, scholarships, career paths, and what daily life looks like as a cadet. No question is off limits, we're here to help you make an informed decision.
Tour the Facilities
Walk through the detachment's classrooms, common areas, and gym space (the cave). See where cadets hang out, study for classes, and play games. Auburn has unique facilities that no other detachment does. You'll get a feel for the environment and culture of the detachment.
Talk with Current Cadets
Tours are completely cadet led. We'll connect you with current cadets who can share their honest experience in the program. Hear what a typical week looks like, how they balance ROTC with academics and campus life, and what they wish they knew before joining.
Come See Us
The best way to learn about Air Force ROTC at Auburn is to experience it in person. Schedule a visit to Detachment 005 and meet our cadre, talk with current cadets, and tour our facilities. We welcome prospective students, parents, and anyone interested in learning more about the program.
To schedule a tour, contact our recruiting officer directly. We'll work with your schedule to find a time that works.
