BY-LAW 5, SECTION 2

1."Local dues" will include both Auburn chapter dues and Alabama State Conference dues. Total for local dues equals the current rate charged by both entities at the time of collection.

2.The "Membership year" for those paying only local dues will coincide with the academic year, August through July. Local dues paid after March 1 (9 month appointment) or May 1 (12 month appointment) will be applied to the following membership year, unless payee instructs otherwise.

3.a. Authorization for payroll deduction of combined national and local (State and Chapter) dues will be accepted and processed from January 1 through May 1 or the next successive business day, for the membership year.

3.b. Authorizations received after May 1 will be applied to the following calendar year. Treasurer will instruct applicant to pay dues for current year directly to the National Office.

3.c. Dues are withheld in five equal installments from the first five monthly paychecks of the calendar year.
