I received the following thank-you note from Sen. Ted Little expressing appreciation to our AAUP members for the concern and support extended to him during his hospitalization a few months ago. The message was sent to me, as chapter president, in an attractive Alabama State Senate card which read: "Thank you for your thoughtfulness during my recent illness and recovery. Your support and encouragement have been very much appreciated. Sincerely, Ted." Also included was the following handwritten note: "Many thanks to you and so many of Auburn's AAUP chapter members who expressed concern and support during my recent hospitalization. I'm doing much better now and wanted to share with you my appreciation. With Regards, T."
