The list below gives some relevant information for Section 6.1 from the University-wide SACS Faculty Survey. This information is not included in the report.

• Item 19: The Board of Trustees uses established mechanisms to ensure a faculty voice in matters of shared concern, consulting representatives who have been selected or approved by the faculty. (response rate 600 of 1,266 or 47.4%)

56.50% of respondents strongly disagreed; 20.83% disagreed; 13.50% were neutral; 4.83% agreed; 1.50% strongly agreed; and 2.83% did not know.

• Item 21: Relationships among the faculty, academic administrators, and governing board are cooperative. (response rate 602 of 1,266 or 47.6%)

47.34% of respondents strongly disagreed; 27.08% disagreed; 3% were neutral; 6.81% agreed; 1.33% strongly agreed; and 1.99% did not know.

· Item 24: Administrative appointments at the college and university level are handled in an open and inclusive manner with appropriate faculty input. (response rate 599 of 1,266 or 47.3%)(Note: The SACS Faculty Survey was administered before the Board appointed Drs. Walker and Richardson without national searches.)

25.71% of respondents strongly disagreed; 22.54% disagreed; 24.21% were neutral; 19.53% agreed; 3.67% strongly agreed; and 4.34% did not know.

• Item 25: Administrative appointments at the college and university level are free from outside influence. (response rate 599 of 1,266 or 47.3%
