AAUP ACADEMIC FREEDOM AWARD

Auburn University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors

 

The Auburn University AAUP Academic Freedom Award is presented annually to a person who has demonstrated high ethical standards and professionalism in his or her field of specialization and has also made significant contributions to advocating, protecting, and extending academic freedom at Auburn University.

 

The award is open to all faculty (including emeriti), staff, administrators, or representatives of duly recognized university organizations.

 

NOMINATIONS should be submitted to the Awards Committee  by Wednesday, MARCH 3, c/o Glenn Howze, Chair (ghowze@acesag.auburn.edu ).  The other Awards Committee members are:  Wayne Brewer (brewejw@auburn.edu ), Lynn Williams (willily@auburn.edu ), and

Constance Relihan (relihco@auburn.edu ).
