Information Regarding the CARES Act

Auburn has been awarded $7.8 million from the U.S. Department of Education, provided through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, that will be used for emergency student aid. Students who meet eligibility requirements and who have expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19 may apply for this program.

Students must have a completed 2019-20 FAFSA on file with Auburn University and meet all federal aid eligibility requirements. Students must have been enrolled at Auburn for spring semester (students who withdrew from all classes for spring are not eligible). Funds are also limited to students who were enrolled in on-campus classes at the time of disruption (students enrolled in all distance courses prior to the disruption are not eligible).
