Auburn University may provide in-state tuition fellowships to students holding graduate assistantships. Though administered through the Graduate School, applicants should contact the specific academic departments concerning eligibility and availability.

Graduate Students Enrolled ONLY in Thesis/Dissertation Course
Graduate students enrolled for only 1 hour of Thesis/Dissertation may qualify for full time status with enrollment in the 0 credit Thesis/Dissertation Completion course. The application for this course should be completed each term as needed and is available on the Graduate School Forms page.
Provisionally Accepted Graduate Students
Graduate students who are admitted provisionally pending test scores or other requirements (GP classification) are not eligible for aid. Once officially admitted, students seeking a Master's degree are classified as GR.
Students Seeking Graduate Certificate
Students must be pursuing a degree in order to receive federal aid. Students who are pursuing only a Graduate Certificate are not eligible for federal aid. Students pursuing only a certificate may apply for a private/alternative loan.
