Rich Penaskovic said he had notified Tim Boosinger and Bob Ritenbaugh (Assistant Vice-President for Auxiliary Services/Vice-President for Administrative Services) about the comments he plans to make related to campus security at the January Senate meeting.
Marcia Boosinger has asked to appear before the Senate to report on the athletic programs. It was agreed that if the agenda is too full she would be moved to a later Senate meeting.
Rich Penaskovic said he would confirm whether Dr. Richardson would speak at the January meeting.
Joe Molnar has asked to give a presentation on the work of the Administrator Evaluation Committee at the January meeting. His presentation would cover the plans for this year’s administrator evaluations.
There is a chance that Richard Messina will be available to provide a report to the Senate on the Strategic Planning process. Rich Penaskovic is waiting for a call from him.
It was suggested that Dr. Moriarty be invited to give an update on the Research Park.
Gisela Buschle-Diller will be asked to provide an update on the work of the Teaching Effectiveness committee in developing a new teaching evaluation instrument.
The committee then discussed development of a statement on PTR that could be used as a cover letter for faculty being required to participate in the field test this academic year. The committee suggested some changes in the wording of the statement.
It was mentioned that the faculty salary information currently posted on the web is unusable. It is not possible to search the data base and it was suggested that Rich Penaskovic mention this in his remarks.
