Gary Gray

Gary K Gray retired early from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and joined University of Alabama at Birmingham as an HR Benefits Analyst and Retirement Counselor while working with Voluntary Retirement plans and Teachers Retirement. After completing a Master of Public Administration at UAB, Gary joined Vanderbilt University in their HR Department serving in the Benefits areas and working with HR data analysis/administration and Open Enrollment.

Later, Gary retuned to Alabama and served in a Senior Benefits Administration role before joining Auburn University in 2020 as HR Assistant Manager – Benefits. In this role, he has worked with the key areas of AU Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, Retirement and over 20 other AU benefit offerings. His total career includes over 30 years combined, in the insurance industry and benefit administration.
