One of the missed perks of being on campus is the face-to-face professional development offered by various Auburn departments. However, we want to remind employees that alternate operations may provide opportunities for employees to participate in their own professional development.
AU Human Resources Development and other groups on campus are still providing Zoom-based and online instruction. This page is a “one-stop” resource for professional development opportunites across campus.
Remember:
- The end of the performance year is coming up on May 31. Check your goals and see if classes or other training would help you achieve them.
- We also encourage those needing a certification or renewal of licensure to be sure to reach out to the appropriate agencies to complete any required training provided.

AU Human Resource Development’s QuickDive videos are agile resources for professional development.
Short videos have been provided for employees to be able to access knowledge when they need it and apply what they learn immediately. With only one takeaway, these small bites of focused information are retained and internalized better than long training sessions or longer eLearning content.
