Cole took the initiative and displayed unmatched commitment to excellence as he developed a unique program for enrolling nearly 1,300 supervisors for the Aspire Leading People program. He was respectful of the diverse team he worked with and led to include Microsoft analysts and Pragmatic program designers. At times, the project hit some snags which Cole did not sugarcoat, he displayed integrity where his words matched his actions, "This is a problem, but I will figure it out."
Chris' leadership was instrumental in shaping Aspire Auburn, ensuring it reflects the very ideals that define our university. In fact, his dedication to these values extends beyond the program itself—he played a key role in identifying the values represented on the coin, drawing directly from the Auburn Creed. His commitment to integrity was evident in the transparent and thoughtful way he approached decision-making, always keeping the program’s mission and the people it serves at the forefront. He led with respect, fostering collaboration and creating a space where diverse perspectives were valued and heard. And, above all, he pursued excellence, setting a standard that has elevated leadership development across Auburn University. Chris is not just a leader—he is a living example of the values we strive to uphold.
Lee interacts with many prospective and incoming students in the College of Agriculture and is a model employee. We trust him with many responsibilities including touring prospective dean candidates around campus and filling in for our recruiter. He is the only student in the College of Agriculture who is deemed a lead orientation leader due to his commitment to excellence interacting with families and incoming freshmen during Camp War Eagle.
