Institutional Compliance Committees
Role
The Auburn University Institutional Compliance Committee and the AUM Institutional Compliance Committee (ICC) support Auburn University in providing broad oversight of university-related regulatory issues.
Responsibilities
The ICCs:

Provide guidance and input on the development of a comprehensive compliance program.

Identify and discusses compliance related topics that could affect the university.

Promote compliance within the members’ respective units and throughout the university.

Aid in the identification of compliance risks where exposures may not be fully addressed.

Assist in the identification of compliance-related educational needs.

Identify policy and procedure needs related to diverse regulatory requirements.
-
Develop, implement, and improve compliance program within the members’ respective units, based on best practices delineated in the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

Encourage open communication among campus compliance units and senior university leadership.
Membership
The membership of the ICCs are appointed by the AVP, Audit, Compliance & Privacy. The AVP serves as the ICC Chair. Current membership:

Meetings
The ICCs will meet at the discretion of the Chair.
