Christopher B. Roberts, Auburn University’s 21st president, spearheads the university’s strategic vision and advances Auburn’s mission. Previously, Roberts served as the Dean of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering from 2012 to 2022. He believes that excellence is at the heart of our institution.

Billy Ainsworth earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Auburn University in 1978. For most of his career, he served as CEO of Progress Rail (a Caterpillar Company), a diversified railroad services company. He retired in December 2020 as the Group President of Caterpillar’s Energy and Transportation. He currently serves on various corporate boards and is active in civic and charitable organizations.

Kevin Robinson has over 30 years of experience in audit and compliance at Auburn University, and serves as the institution’s chief audit, compliance, and privacy officer. He is the primary author of the highly popular e-newsletter “Case-In-Point: Lessons for the Proactive Manager,” which discusses emerging risks in higher education. Kevin is an adjunct member of the graduate faculty in the Harbert College of Business.

Keynote Speaker

Steven A. Robinson is a seasoned consultant, author, and keynote speaker renowned for his expertise in organizational culture design, brand strategy development, and iconic advertising principles. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Chick-fil-A, Inc. from 1981 to 2015, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s identity, marketing, and hospitality strategies. Prior to Chick-fil-A, Steve held marketing leadership roles at Six Flags and Texas Instruments.

A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Steve also holds a master’s degree in advertising from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. His career reflects a deep commitment to values-driven leadership and strategic brand building.

Steve is the author of Covert Cows and Chick-fil-A, a compelling narrative on how faith and purpose helped build one of America’s most beloved brands. Through his consulting firm, S. Robinson Consulting, he continues to advise organizations on culture, branding, and long-range planning. He also serves on several nonprofit and educational boards, including FamilyLife, Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Atlanta, and the College Football Hall of Fame.

Known for his engaging storytelling and practical wisdom, Steve inspires audiences to lead with integrity, innovate with purpose, and build brands that resonate deeply with customers.

Jim Booz joined the Auburn Athletics department in September of 2025 as the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director of Compliance. Previously, Jim was the President and CEO of Titan Sport Group engaging in consulting for Athletic departments around the county, and served as the Director of Collegiate Athletics Advisory Services for James Moore & Co.

Jim spent a total of 14 years at the University of Virginia athletics department. The most recent six were as deputy athletics director overseeing the department’s Strategic Advancement initiatives and the Name Image and Likeness (NIL) program. He also supervised the compliance office and admissions process for student-athletes. He led a team of staff members to develop and maintain strategic partnerships, to identify, secure and steward resources and to develop a comprehensive strategic plan to advance recruitment and philanthropy.

Booz also spent six years at the University of Georgia as a senior administrator on Georgia’s athletics staff from 2011 – 2017, serving as executive associate athletic director. He was responsible for the oversight and long-range planning of the sports medicine and compliance units and leading a team of six sport administrators.

In his previous service at Virginia, Booz was an associate director of athletics for academic affairs (2007-11) and associate athletic director for compliance (2004-07). He was responsible for oversight and long-range planning in the academic affairs area, hiring and training staff, evaluating the program and designing its content, developing and implementing policy, and developing and managing the budget.

Prior to joining the Virginia athletics department, Booz served as assistant athletics director for compliance at Vanderbilt from 2000-2004. He started on the Vanderbilt staff in 1995 as an academic counselor, then named director of eligibility and summer programs in 1998.

Booz received his undergraduate degree in physical education and sport management from Tennessee at Martin (1995) and master’s degree in higher education administration from Middle Tennessee State (1998).

Ashley Gann continues her dedication to community engagement and public safety as Auburn’s Public Information Officer within Institutional Compliance and Security. She has covered some of the state's most historic weather events in the last 20 years as a broadcast meteorologist. She now shares her expertise as an adjunct instructor in Aviation Management and the Harbert College of Business.

Aria Allan is the Assistant Vice President of Equal Opportunity Compliance and Senior Deputy Title IX/Title VI/ADA Coordinator at Auburn University. She and her team are dedicated to fostering an inclusive, fair, and supportive environment for all faculty, staff, and students. They ensure compliance with federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

EOC’s work encompasses ADA accommodations for employees, religious accommodations for all students and employees, pregnancy-related accommodations across campus, and impartial investigations into reports of sexual misconduct, discrimination, and harassment. Through education, policy guidance, and responsive support, Aria’s office strives to uphold a campus culture rooted in respect, integrity, and accountability.

Aria joined Auburn in 2024 after working as an attorney at Balch & Bingham LLP in Montgomery, AL, for six years litigating civil rights, labor and employment, and employment benefits matters. Prior to that, Aria was a law clerk for the Honorable Callie V. S. “Ginny” Granade of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and for the Honorable Joel F. Dubina of the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Aria attended Washington and Lee University for her undergraduate studies in Spanish and English Literature and for law school.

Lady Cox is the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs at Auburn University. Dr. Cox oversees a wide array of student-focused areas, including Auburn Cares, Student Conduct, Parent & Family Programs, Student Counseling & Psychological Services, and Greek life. Her leadership has elevated Auburn’s student life by providing comprehensive support and fostering a community of care for students. Importantly, Dr. Cox led the implementation of the Stop Campus Hazing Act at Auburn University this past year. Establishing a program for the awareness and prevention of hazing involved updating university policy, developing student and employee training, and communicating the message across campus and beyond to parents and stakeholders.

Dr. Cox was named the 2025 Campus Professional of the Year by Phi Delta Theta fraternity recognizing her extraordinary contributions to Greek students at Auburn.  She was also named Favorite Administrator by the Auburn Plainsman She is a true champion of student development and a model of servant leadership in higher education.

Dr. Cox has been at Auburn University since 2010. Previously, she was at Mississippi State University serving in multiple Student Affairs roles.  She has bachelor's degree in communication management from Mississippi State, a master’s degree in higher education from Auburn, and a doctorate from the University of Georgia's McBee Institute of Higher Education.   

Bill Miaoulis is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at Auburn University, a position he has held since February 2016 responsible for the cybersecurity of all systems and networks at Auburn University. Bill has over 30 years working in Security and Privacy, primarily in healthcare and academia, but also in the energy and banking industries. His specialties include NIST standards, HIPAA Security and Privacy, and Project Management.

Bill and his team implement and recommend security controls, we are responsible for the Information Security Incident Response Process, conducting security risk analysis and management, working with campus stakeholder to ensure compliance with security regulations such as  Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) security, state and federal breach notification laws, implementing generally accepted security principles and practices, developing Cybersecurity policy, procedures and standards, evaluating application system controls and assisting with System Security (Cyber) plans.

Bill previous experience includes being the Manager of HIPAA Security Consulting at SAIC and created the Information Security Office at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) a role he held for 7 years.

Bill spent over 11 years at Phoenix Health Systems serving as Phoenix Health Systems’ Corporate Information Security Officer (CISO) and Service Line Leader for HIPAA/HITECH Security and Privacy Consulting. His responsibilities included project management, security risk analysis and management, HIPAA/HITECH privacy and security, Information Technology management, generally accepted security principles and practices, application system control evaluation and implementation, IT disaster recovery planning, and security systems selection and implementation.

Bill earned his B.S.B.A in Finance at Auburn University and holds Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certifications. Bill authored “Preparing for a HIPAA Security Compliance Assessment” AHIMA Publications – Books, September 2010.  He has also contributed to three other books and has often been quoted in articles and has spoken extensively at National Cybersecurity events.

Tony Ventimiglia is the Assistant Vice President for Research Administration at Auburn University within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research & Economic Development. Tony provides oversight for the Offices of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Proposal Services and Faculty Support (PSFS). Tony and his team support faculty in submitting proposals for extramural funding, negotiating contracts and grants, and ensuring compliance with sponsor requirements.

Tony has been working in research administration since 1999 and has volunteered in various capacities with the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) at both the regional and national level, including serving as both Secretary and President of NCURA. Tony has served as a presenter or co-presenter for over 75 NCURA workshops/concurrent sessions/discussion groups and has presented to audiences both domestic and international. He also served as faculty for Auburn University’s COMPASS research administration certification course which trains employees on the research administration process and procedures.

Prior to moving to Alabama in 1999, Tony worked at the Ford Foundation in New York for seven years in various capacities (including as a Grants Processing Specialist and Grants Administrator). Tony has a Bachelor of Arts from St. Joseph's College (Political Science) and a Master of Professional Studies from SUNY Stony Brook (Public Affairs).
