
Robert Mann, Assistant Director of Emergency Management, served as a United States Marine for 23 years, retiring as Master Sergeant, and has over 30 years of Emergency Management experience. He has responded to several national and international incidents including plane crashes, hurricanes, IED incidents, biological contamination incidents, and most recently, tornado response and recovery missions. Robert is active in the Institutions of Higher Education Caucus within the Alabama Association of Emergency Managers and holds a doctorate in Emergency Management.
