Auburn provides a variety of scholarships to eligible students through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager (AUSOM). Incoming early admission students must complete the scholarship application through AUSOM by March 1 to receive consideration for scholarships.
Incoming students are not required to submit the enrollment deposit to apply for scholarships and are only required to complete the scholarship application once each academic year. To complete the scholarship application and search for scholarships, visit AUSOM on Admitted Students or My Finances in AU Access.
Visit auburn.edu/scholarship for more information on scholarships and AUSOM.

Types of financial aid available include grants, loans, and work-study programs.
*The FAFSA is the only form a student is required to complete to be considered for student assistance from any of the Title IV HEA programs, except for information needed to ensure the student’s eligibility for such assistance (e.g., information needed to complete verification or to demonstrate compliance with the student eligibility provisions of the HEA and the regulations). Additional information, if requested, will be listed on the student’s AU Access My Finances page after we receive the results of the FAFSA. For additional information, visit auburn.edu/finaid.
Early Admission students entering summer or fall semester will attend Camp War Eagle (CWE). Camp War Eagle is Auburn's summer orientation program for incoming freshmen. The program exists primarily to better orient Auburn's new students through a structured program emphasizing academic and personal success. Students meet faculty, talk with academic advisors, and register for fall semester classes. Deposited students will receive information about CWE after the deposit confirmation is received.
Early Admission students entering spring semester will attend Successfully Orienting Students (SOS) in either November or January prior to the start of classes. SOS is a one-day program that emphasizes university services, meetings with academic advisors, small group discussions on college student life led by upper-class student leaders, and registration for classes. Students will receive more information about SOS after the enrollment deposit is received.
