I can no longer attend my visit. How do I cancel?

Please e-mail us at veryimpressivetigers@auburn.edu. Our team will take care of canceling all scheduled appointments.

While we understand things come up and interests change, if possible, please provide the VIT Team a 7-day notice to allow our waitlisted students an opportunity to attend.

How long will a typical visit last?

A typical visit will last between 4-5 hours. You will receive a final itinerary from our team closer to your visit day with your scheduled start and end time.

Why did I receive this invitation?

The Very Impressive Tiger program is designed to recognize students with outstanding academic achievements. For more information about our competitive merit scholarships, click here. During your visit, a member of our staff will be available to answer any additional questions you may have about scholarship opportunities.

I have received emails from different departments on campus about my visit day. What should I do?

Please disregard any emails you receive from specific departments (i.e. Honors College, Campus Tours, Academic Colleges). We work with departments across campus to schedule the most in-depth tour possible. There is no need to schedule any additional meetings yourself!

If you need to cancel your visit, please e-mail us at veryimpressivetigers@auburn.edu. Our team will let the department know you will no longer be attending.

How will I navigate my way around campus during my VIT visit?

Once you check in at the Quad Center, a team member of our VIT staff will be with you all day. There will never be a need to navigate campus alone during your visit. Our team will provide you with golf cart transportation to and from all of your appointments and be with you to answer any questions that come up throughout the day.

Is there a lot of walking on this tour?

The campus tour is an hour and fifteen minute guided walking tour of campus. There will be golf cart transportation provided to and from appointments, but all campus tours will be walking tours.

Do I have to be committed to Auburn to come on this visit?

No commitment is required to attend this visit. Just have an interest in becoming an Auburn Tiger!

Who can attend this visit with me?

Up to two parents/guardians may attend this visit with you.

Since this visit is an invitation-only, individual visit, we cannot allow friends or family also interested in Auburn University to attend this visit.

If you have questions about specific situations, please e-mail us at veryimpressivetigers@auburn.edu.

What do I wear?

Dress appropriately to be outside in the weather! Comfortable shoes are recommended.
