The Southeastern Center of Robotics Education has been the host for the Alabama State VEX IQ Robotics Competition since 2018. Through the years numerous students from schools throughout the state have been in attendance competing for the state title. Various Awards won at this competition directly qualify those teams to the VEX Worlds Robotics Competition hosted by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation. At this event, students will compete with top tier teams from around the world. The images and documents shown are aimed to highlight the achievements of the teams throughout the year and the impact and presence of SCORE and Robotics throughout the state and nation.
The Southeastern Center of Robotics Education has hosted the Alabama State VEX VRC Robotics Competition since 2018. This competition is similar to the VEX IQ competition, but is designed for middle and high schoolers. Each year, there is a new game that students design, build, and program their robots to participate in the challenge. Certain awards from this competition will qualify teams to the Worlds competition where they will compete among top teams from around the world. This page is dedicated to highlight the achievements of teams throughout the years.
The Hyundai Signature events are hosted by S.C.O.R.E and sponsored by Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama. This event is a larger tournament that directly qualifies teams to Worlds. There are only two events of such stature, signature events and state regional events. Teams from multiple states and Canada have attended this event throughout the seasons. This has been held over the course of 3 seasons at the Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, Georgia with the aid of Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama.
