- Job profile and responsibilities- Associate Vice President, Strategy and Impact. In this role, I oversee a $100M portfolio of internal research programs at MD Anderson Cancer Center. I work closely with the Chief Scientific Officer to develop, operationalize, and manage team-based research programs within the institution and with high profile sponsors and donors.
- Education:
- PhD in Cell Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham
- BS in Molecular Biology from Auburn University
- Expertise/Prior Experience-For a decade, I worked as a lab program manager and later as a Director of Research, where I developed and oversaw a $30M research portfolio that included government and foundation grants, clinical and translational industry alliances, and philanthropic programs.
