Auburn’s College of Education Launches New ESOL Course for Elementary Education Students

Auburn University’s College of Education is rolling out a new course this fall designed to equip future elementary educators with the tools they need to support multilingual learners. Titled Foundations of Multilingual Learner Instruction, the course marks a significant milestone for the Elementary Education program, which is incorporating a dedicated ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course in its curriculum.

Auburn’s College of Education, Tuskegee University partner to offer NSF-funded technology experiences for Alabama high schoolers

This summer, 42 high school students from Alabama’s Black Belt region spent four weeks learning software design processes and sketching out their own mobile app prototypes —discovering just how far their creativity and problem-solving skills could take them.
