General Questions
Participation in any summer program does not guarantee admission, influence admissions decisions, or replace the standard processes. Students must apply and meet established admissions criteria like all applicants.
The Office of College Preparation and Success serves Alabama students in alignment with Auburn University’s land-grant mission. Students who live outside of Alabama are encouraged to explore Auburn’s admissions resources, campus visit opportunities, and academic programs through offices such as the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, various academic colleges, and Auburn Youth Programs.
Current Auburn students may apply to serve in paid student leadership roles within Office of College Preparation and Success programs, such as serving as a Navigator for the summer programs. Hiring timelines, eligibility requirements, and application details are shared through campus job postings and program communications. Interested students should monitor Auburn’s student employment platforms and OCPS announcements for opportunities.

Programs are fully supervised by Auburn University staff and trained student leaders. Participants are expected to follow schedules, remain with their assigned groups, and comply with all program guidelines. Student safety is prioritized above all else. All residence halls remain locked throughout the program and are only accessible by approved student and staff card access. Residence halls are supervised overnight and AUPD does regular sweeps of the campus. There are also numerous emergency call boxes located around the campus that can be accessed at any time. During all programs, students will travel with their assigned groups to various on-campus locations to ensure students are safe and also accounted for. Please support our team by ensuring your student adheres to all rules and directions given by our team.
Health-related forms and instructions are provided prior to arrival. Families with questions, concerns, or accommodation needs should contact program staff as early as possible after registration so appropriate arrangements can be made to support each participant's full experience.
