Summer Scholars Academy is a residential college preparation program designed for high-achieving, academically motivated rising high school juniors. Students participate in structured ACT instruction, academic skill development, and guided exposure to Auburn University’s academic expectations, resources, and pathways for collegiate success.

In addition to academic preparation, Summer Scholars Academy offers meaningful experiences that help students envision their future at Auburn University and beyond. Key program highlights include:

  • Daily ACT preparation provided by Hightower Prep, equipping students with proven strategies and personalized instruction to build confidence and improve performance
  • Networking Dinner, where students connect with Auburn University professionals dedicated to supporting the student experience
  • Interactive classroom sessions, allowing students to explore potential majors and experience Auburn academics firsthand
  • Engaging activities and residential traditions, creating a fun and memorable environment while building connections with peers

These opportunities combine academic growth, professional exposure, and community building to help students prepare for collegiate success and discover their goals.
