Tiger Takeoff is a multi-day, on-campus summer program for rising seniors in Alabama. The experience introduces high-achieving students to academic life at Auburn through leadership development, faculty and staff engagement, campus resources, and peer mentoring.
Over the course of this three-day residential experience, students engage in immersive opportunities designed to help them envision their future at Auburn University. Key program highlights include:
- Interactive classroom sessions, led by Auburn faculty and staff, allowing students to explore potential majors and experience real college classrooms
- Networking Dinner, where students connect with Auburn University professionals dedicated to supporting the student experience
- Engaging activities and evening residential traditions, creating a fun and memorable environment while helping students build meaningful peer connections
- Faculty, staff, and peer engagement, providing guidance and perspective on academic opportunities and student life at Auburn
These experiences give rising seniors a meaningful preview of academic, social, and professional life as an Auburn student.
Tiger Takeoff gave me the chance to step out of my comfort zone to try new things and meet new people. The summer program actually solidified my decision to choose Auburn because of how welcoming the environment felt. I am forever grateful that I signed up to attend and proud that I later returned as a Tiger Takeoff Navigator myself.
