What is Academic Coaching?
Academic Coaching is a personalized partnership designed to support students in meeting their academic goals. You and your coach work together to develop realistic and workable plans to achieve your vision of success in college. Coaching is short-term, provided year-round, free service for enrolled students at Auburn University. Schedule your appointment through the Advise Assist “Click to Schedule” link on the Make an Appointment page. Appointments are hosted in 2234 Haley Center with online options available for intakes and continuing coach sessions.

The Academic Coaching program in Academic Support is certified by CRLA’s International Peer Educator Training Program Certification (IPTPC) at Level III. Auburn students work one-on-one with a trained peer educator academic coach to explore habits, interests, skills, concerns, intentions through this goal driven process. Every Auburn student who attends coaching will meet with a coach who participates in this recognized training.
How to Schedule
To schedule your free session: Select above “Click to Schedule” → Type of appointment: Academic Coaching → Service: Academic Coaching Intake → Choose online or in-person → Find Available Time → Choose your preferred date/time or search by Staff
For online appointments, the link to the Zoom room will be in your email confirmation from Advise Assist.
We ask that all students contact us to cancel/reschedule 24 hours in advance should they find themselves unable to attend their scheduled appointment. You can manage your appointment in Advise & Assist or by contacting our office at 334-844-5972 with any questions. These services are free for all enrolled students at Auburn University.
