Academic Coaching is your one-on-one path to studying smarter, staying organized, and reaching your goals at Auburn. Together, you and your trained coach will create a personalized success plan—whether you want to manage your workload, sharpen focus, master test prep, or navigate college life with confidence. Coaching is free, available year-round, and open to all enrolled students.

Service Hours

In Fall 2025, Academic Coaches will host appointments Monday, August 18 – Friday, December 4 with times ranging from Monday – Friday between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. Appointments are hosted in 2234 Haley Center with online options available for intakes and continuing coach sessions. All appointments after 4 p.m. will be held virtually over Zoom.

What You'll Work On

The learning strategies taught in Academic Coaching can be applied regardless of class standing, major, or past school experiences. At the first meeting, students are assessed regarding their academic skills, challenges, and goals. Students then meet with their Academic Coach for an average of five appointments per semester. Students are welcome to return at any time and are encouraged to continue working with the same coach. Below are possible areas of focus in our program:

Certified Peer Educators

Academic Coaches in Academic Support are graduate student peer educators dedicated to supporting student success. Coaches complete over 35 hours of training annually, as they earn their level I, II, and III Peer Educator Certifications.
