Auburn University Graduate School does not require the GRE; however programs and departments may require official test scores for admission or for consideration of funding. - The Entomology MS, MAg and PhD programs do not require the GRE, but do leave the overall requirement up to the individual Principal Investigator.
- While the GRE is required as an evaluation tool, the Mechanical Engineering MS and PhD programs will use flexibility regarding submission deadline, conditional admission, and cut-off limits.
- The GMAT is not required for applicants to the Accountancy Online MAcc. The GMAT is optional but recommended for AU undergraduates for the on-campus MAcc program, and required for non-AU students.

The Full-Time MBA, Online MBA, MS Finance, MS Information Systems, and MS Supply Chain Management programs will waive the GMAT/GRE test score requirement for applicants that meet established criteria. Please visit the program pages on The Harbert College of Business website for more information.
- The Executive MBA, Physicians Executive MBA and Master of Real Estate Development programs do not require the GMAT.
