Of the more than 130 programs offered through Auburn Abroad, three — Joseph S. Bruno Auburn Abroad in Italy, Business minor in Milan, Italy and Tropical Conservation and Sustainable Development in Costa Rica — also allow students to earn a complete minor in only seven or 13 weeks.
To encourage and support the development of new study abroad opportunities for Auburn students, the Office of International Programs will award more than 10 Study Abroad Development Grants to support faculty travel site visits.
Each year, the academy adds members who are recognized for their international teaching, and these faculty help lead Auburn's efforts in internationalization of the curriculum.
The International Cultural Center, part of the Office of International Programs, was awarded the "Fan Favorite" poster for one of its signature programs, Global Culture and Cuisine, at the NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference and Expo.
