The Office of Research Integrity & Compliance (ORIC) is responsible for the administration of responsible conduct of research education, research misconduct proceedings, conflict of interest related to research and research compliance programs in the areas of human subjects, animal care and use, biological safety and other associated activities. ORIC is responsible for monitoring regulatory changes and advising on institutional actions to maintain compliance. ORIC oversees the development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs and educational activities that align with federal regulations, state law and institutional policies and procedures governing the conduct of research.

RECR includes requirements, education and guidelines for conducting research responsibly and ethically.

The FCOI policies ensure that Auburn researchers appropriately disclose and manage any real or perceived conflicts of interest related to research.

The HRPP is charged with the protection of human participants in Auburn research and are in accordance with federal regulations, state laws and institutional policies.

The ACUP is charged with oversight of animals used in research, teaching, production and demonstration in accordance with federal regulations, state laws and institutional policies.

The BSP is charged with oversight of biosafety regulations and protecting public health and the environment.
Research Misconduct proceedings address allegations of fabrication, falsification or plagiarism in proposing, performing/reviewing research or in reporting research results.
