What is ALEC?
Supplier compliance is critical for any successful RFID program. ALEC is the supplier support and validation program to help. ALEC is used by multiple end-users of RFID, and has seen thousands of product suppliers who have validated their solutions.
Through the submission process, ALEC validates all aspects of RFID execution, including correct inlay, tagging location, encoding, and more. If an item is particularly challenging, products may be tested to determine the optimal RFID solution.How ALEC Validation Works:

Step 1: Prepare your Submission
Group your items into like items, identify your RFID solution, including RFID tag and tagging location.

Step 2: Make Your Submission
Make your submission on the web form. Ensure you are prepared to ship it, as a tracking number is required!

Step 3: Mail Your Submission
Mail your submission(s) to the RFID Lab, including 5 sample tags of the same GTIN, and a printed copy of your submission confirmation received via email after submitting.

Step 4: Submission Validated at Auburn RFID Lab
The submitted samples will be processed and validated by the RFID Lab team. The team will ensure your submission is compliant with all end-user requirements.

Step 5: Receive Validation Status
Your approval status will be received via email. If you are approved, you are good to go! If your submission fails, follow the instructions detailed in your email.
