The School of Kinesiology's Physical Activity and Wellness Program is a collection of elective course that students from any major across Auburn's campus can take to improve their physical and mental wellbeing while credit hours. Students can choose from a variety of interests including golf, bowling, Bollywood, walking, SCUBA, volleyball, and much more. 

Mission Statement

The goal of the Physical Activity and Wellness Program (PAWP) is to provide AU students the opportunity to develop and refine skills, knowledge and interest in a variety of physical activities that will enhance health, happiness, wellness and pursuit of positive leisure activities across their lifetimes.

  • Walking: Basic concepts and physical activities associated with the development and maintenance of cardio-respiratory functioning. Activities in this course are focused on walking as a form of exercise.

     

  • Bollywood: Cardiofitness dance.

     

  • Barre: Fitness course incorporating a ballet barre and movement derived from ballet.
