Goals
The goals of the Interior Design program are grounded upon preparing graduates who: possess the knowledge and understanding of the reciprocal nature of the human response to aesthetic, functional, and technological aspects of the built environment. Have developed the technical, conceptual and communication skills necessary to evolve as practicing Interior Designers and successfully navigate the professional environment. Understand the value of designing environments for clients or individuals from diverse cultures, with varying physical capabilities, and at varying economic strata. Understand and implement professional and personal ethical policies that relate to and influence the design industry, individual businesses / corporations, vocational organizations and the Interior Design profession as a whole.
