Philosophy
The philosophy of the Auburn University INDS Program is based on the definition of Interior Design as endorsed by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and the major Interior Design associations of North America:
“Interior Design includes a scope of services performed by a professional design practitioner, qualified by means of education, experience, and examination, to protect and enhance the life, health, safety and welfare of the public.
