Mission
The mission of the Auburn University Interior Design Program is parallel to that of the College of Human Sciences: to educate students to develop creative concepts and effective solutions to complex problems.
This is achieved by: the analysis and synthesis of aesthetic, functional, behavioral and cultural needs of occupants / users / consumers through the study and utilization of current research and contemporary industry standards in conjunction with employing sound design principles and concepts.
