Caroline Justice, an alumna of the Hospitality program in the College of Human Sciences, will present a wine and cheese pairing featuring the 2017 Raptor Ridge Pinot Gris and the 2017 Barrel Select Pinot Noir. Caroline is the Director of Membership and Events at the Raptor Ridge Winery in Oregon. This job opportunity came about after Caroline spent last summer as an intern at Raptor Ridge, and those in charge quickly recognized her creativity and can-do attitude. Now she leads the charge in managing events, catering specifically to the winery’s dedicated wine club members.
Drew Kostic, an alumni of Auburn’s brewing science program and brewer at Keg and Lantern Brewery in Brooklyn, shared last week on The Science of Great Taste, discussing the science of brewing beer and his unusual path to this career.
